Emmanuel Murai

Murai is a dynamic and results-driven CEO and Founder of Jiajiri Credit, where he has successfully transformed the company into a leader in the lending sector. With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Emmanuel has consistently driven growth, market expansion, and profitability. He is the visionary behind Jiajiri Credit’s wide range of innovative loans, including Agri-SME loans, Solar Energy loans, Education/Elimisha loans, Check-off loans, and Secured loans like Logbook, Asset Finance, and Import Financing loans. His leadership is characterized by a commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and market penetration, positioning Jiajiri Credit as a key player in the sector.

Emmanuel’s career began with his role as an Administrative Assistant at Ngao Credit, where he rapidly ascended through the ranks, showcasing his ability to drive business growth and operational improvements. As Branch Manager, he grew the portfolio by 40%, improved credit recovery, and streamlined operations to enhance efficiency. His strategic leadership continued as he served as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and later Assistant GM/Head of Business Development at Ngao Credit, where he led the company through significant expansions and strategic shifts. Notably, he increased sales revenue by 40%, established successful partnerships, and repositioned service offerings to meet evolving customer needs.

In his most recent role as Country Manager at Avenews Kenya, Emmanuel made a significant impact in the agri-business sector, driving growth through the development of innovative Agri-SME financial products such as Buy Now Pay Later solutions for agro-dealers and Invoice Financing for Agri-SME suppliers. He played a crucial role in building operational structures, securing strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing team while overseeing a KES 1.2 billion annual budget. Emmanuel’s leadership in strategy execution, regulatory compliance, and talent development reinforced his ability to foster innovation, drive growth, and deliver tailored solutions for the agricultural sector.

Emmanuel’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from Pinnacle Business School. His career is a testament to his strategic acumen and ability to create lasting impact in the lending and financial services sectors, particularly in the areas of market expansion, product innovation, and operational efficiency.

Felister Bitutu Nyaosi-Branch Manger

Felister is an experienced administrative officer and sales professional with a strong background in customer service and branch-level operations. She holds a Diploma in Tour Guiding and Administration from the Amboseli Institute of Hospitality and additional certifications in computer studies.

With over a decade of experience, Felister has built expertise in leadership, problem-solving, and customer relationship management. Since September 2021, she has served as the Branch Manager at Jiajiri Credit, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing branch operations, maintaining a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) of 5%, and driving business growth through client onboarding and loan lending. Her responsibilities also include interpreting financial statements for clients, managing daily collections and targets, and ensuring seamless branch operations.

Felister’s career journey began as a clerk at World Life Clubs of Kenya and progressed into impactful sales roles at Crywan Limited and Ngao Credit Ltd. In these roles, she excelled in client recruitment, market expansion, and resolving customer inquiries, skills that now define her success in leading branch-level operations.

Known for her excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, Felister is highly motivated, adaptable, and results-driven, making her an invaluable asset to Jiajiri Credit’s success.

Solomon Soita Bikokwa-Relationship Manager

Solomon is a skilled and motivated professional with a Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Chuka University. He has a diverse work background, including experience in project management, facilitation, data management, and customer relationship management.  

 

Solomon has worked with reputable organizations such as UNICEF, Save the Children, and the Kenya Red Cross Society, where he gained expertise in data cleanup, positive parenting facilitation, and fieldwork operations. Additionally, he served as a Project Officer at the National Land Commission, managing record-keeping, report writing, and stakeholder coordination.  

 

Currently, Solomon is our Relationship Officer at Jiajiri Credit Ltd., where he plays a vital role in marketing the company’s financial products, acquiring new clients, managing debt collection, and representing the organization in client and stakeholder meetings. His dedication to building strong relationships and growing the company’s portfolio highlights his commitment to driving organizational success.

Solomon Soita Bikokwa-Relationship Manager

Esther is an emerging accounting professional with a solid foundation in financial management and reporting. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration (Distinction) from Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology and certifications in accounting, including CPA II and ATC.  

 

With over five years of experience in financial roles, Esther has demonstrated expertise in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing management accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax and reporting requirements. She started her career as an Accountant Assistant at Ngao Credit, where she honed her skills in expense tracking, account reconciliation, and budget management.  

 

Currently, Esther serves as an Accountant at Jiajiri Credit, where she is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining books of accounts, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, and generating detailed financial reports. Her precision, efficiency, and commitment to maintaining tight controls contribute significantly to the organization’s financial health.  

Esther’s strong communication skills, proficiency in journal entries, and expertise in calculating liabilities make her a valuable asset in streamlining processes and enhancing financial efficiency.
